In approximately 17 days, I will be in a food coma. Yep, I'm counting. I will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day Week by eating whatever I want, whenever I want - how ever many times I want it. I'm treating myself because overall, I treat my body really during the year - especially the few weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. I try to focus really hard on eating lots of grains, lean proteins, organic, fresh fruits, greens, and vegetables, and drinking lots of water and fresh juices (I make this juice 2-3 times a week). Doing that makes me feel better physically- and consciously about throwing my body into a bit of shock for a few days during Thanksgiving. So today, I thought I would do a little roundup of some recipes I've posted in the past (dessert included!) that will be popular in my kitchen over the next few weeks. Let me know if you try or have tried any of them!
{Roasted Tomato Soup - the best ever... }
{Beet, Carrot, Orange, Green Apple, Lemon, Kale & Mint Juice - Don't let the word "beet" scare you! This is delish even if you don't like beets!}
{Soba Noodle Salad w/ an Almond Butter Dressing}
Ok, now I am hungry!
ReplyDeleteYum! These look delicious - will have to try!!

ReplyDeleteKnow your maps in the video games that you are playing. Understanding the terrain is extremely important to winning. Where are the best places from which to hide and ambush your opponents? Where can you take shortcuts to give you a better strategic position? This type of knowledge will give you a major strategic advantage.
