You really did more than our own desires. I always always have a Target list, lol and I have to add to it when it comes in my mind otherwise, like you, I'll get in the store and forget and then have to go back the next day which is just wasted time. When I cross tasks off a list, I try to look at it in the mindset of, yay....I accomplished x y and z today as opposed to booooooo, I have so much more to finish and do. This prevents me from feeling overwhelmed, though it doesn't always work.

I'm moving soon and I've been trying to do some sort of packing or purging a day so that on weekends, I'm not burdened with the task. So that parallels with your one chore a day suggestion. Weekends I get very anxious to get out of the house so I prefer to try to be more diligent at night in getting things done while I'm watching dvr'd Wendy Williams, The Real, Rachal Ray episodes because I know come Saturday.......I'm not trying to stay home to do any of it.

Sundays used to be my "chores day" then somehow chores became a "when I get to it" day. So I am trying to just make everything a little easier and faster to complete. Now when I do laundry, I fold them soon as I take them out of the dryer and put them away asap. If I don't.....it's a good chance I will simply grab clean items out of the pile for a good week. In actuality, folding per load is only about 5 or 10 mins and putting them away is just a few moments. It's way more easier than folding several loads at once.designindulgenceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10493987177857167110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2382867539722801413.post-81449639552633183602015-02-02T09:36:30.034-05:002015-02-02T09:36:30.034-05:00I LOVE this! It's so easy to forget that I actually love cooking because K is so good at it. Having a rolling grocery list would help me from getting overwhelmed I am sure. paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09732549311548601111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2382867539722801413.post-44604103601479443302015-01-29T10:16:27.592-05:002015-01-29T10:16:27.592-05:00I also start getting ready for my week on the week...I also start getting ready for my week on the weekend. Usually Sunday I do all the grocery shopping and plan my menus so that I don't have to think. I also try to start cooking some of the meals and wash as many clothes as possible. I also get my hair and nails done so I look good without much effort during the week lol. I definitely need to start making more lists though so I don't forget anything!Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15980307451702301968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2382867539722801413.post-90324583847141585032015-01-29T09:33:53.597-05:002015-01-29T09:33:53.597-05:00Tiffany I love the rolling grocery list idea I too...Tiffany I love the rolling grocery list idea I too LOVE having fresh foods in the house too. For me 2015 is the start of me making a to do list, writing things down. I've always been Ms Wing It, doesn't work any longer if it ever really did. Planning for me is no an essential task. I have planners, calendars, diaries, journals, post it notes what/when/where/who/how it helps me stay organized and on task. I'm easily distracted planning and writing it down helps in this area too. Just found out about a Passion Planner I'm crushing on that big time♥ Also with learning to say no, I've also learned that no I'm not sorry. Stop apologizing for everything. Excellent post :)Traceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14813104213650814327noreply@blogger.com
