A Pantry + Friday

Happy Friday!! Did you have a good week? I was plagued by 4 migraines this week, hence I didn't get to complete my Friday's Fancies post I planned for today. BUT, I think that butler's pantry is more fabulous than the post I had planned anyway! I pinned that last night and I think it is quite gorgeous. A sink, a pretty one, has now been added to my list of must-haves in my dream pantry... :)

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! On my to-do list is dinner with some amazing Atlanta bloggers, whipping up a delicious-looking French dessert, reading and taking a nap or two or three...

Oh and P.S. Do any of you have migraines? If so, what are your secrets to suppressing them and / or dealing with them? I'd love to hear!

  1. Thanks for the lovely post! I'm sorry to hear about your migraines :( I've been a sufferer of migraines for many years until I took control because I just couldn't take it anymore. I started journaling when and how many and then compared them against my diet. I found that when I ate nuts, white wine and white cheese (brie) I would get a headache, so I eliminated them, except for holidays I just take a risk and guess what here comes the migraine. I do have an Imitrex scrip too, I take when I have to. Hope this helps. Take care

  3. Aw Tiffany, migraines are horrible!!! I know my mom suffered from them too. Just take care of yourself the best way you know how to when one comes along, try to catch it when you first feel the "niggling" as my mom used to say. As for the pantry you've posted, I would love that to be a part of my main kitchen!!!! So prretty.

  4. My daughter also suffers from migraines, so when I saw a program on Dr. Oz discussing some remedies, I sent it to her and she has not had a migraine since. Dr. Oz sugggested taking 75mg of butterbur (an herbal extract) twice a day. Migraines have also been prevented by botox injections every few months, but that is kind of pricey. I hope this helps you as well.

  7. I too have suffered from migrains. All the suggestions above are good, I also was prescribed amitriptylin 25 mg which I take every night. Also, I notice when I haven't had enough water, I can get migraines. My uncle had wonderful results from botox

  8. Oh, how I wish I had some space in my house for a pantry like this one! It's perfect in my book! I could really use some naps this weekend, too. Such a long week, but also a great one! Can't wait to fill you in. P.S. the book signing with Giada last night was insane. In line for over 3 hours and was in front of her for maybe 5 seconds! I need another trip to the spa!!! Hope your migraines get better. So sorry to hear you suffer from them. No fun. xo
