WEEK IN EIGHT PICS...

{A few gifts from my ever-so-wonderful parents - my first ever Le Creuset dutch oven and Rose Beranbaum's newest cookbook, "The Baking Bible." "The Little French Kitchen" is a cute little French cookbook I received my fabulous brother... }

Hello there!! Did you have a good Christmas?? I have to say that Christmas was quite good for me. It was all that I thought and wanted it to would be - lots of family time, lots of good food, lots of lounging, and lots of good, quality sleep. My eyelids feel like they don't weigh a thing at the moment... That's the best feeling! I feel even more blessed to have another week to become even more acquainted with my pajamas and get some things done before real life sets back in. In the meantime, I wanted to pop in and show you a few fun moments from last week... I wish I could have the week back, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to the new year. Can't wait for a fresh new start!

{My mom's "Charlie Brown Christmas tree"...}

{Our traditional Christmas morning breakfast - cinnamon rolls straight from the refrigerated section of the grocery store. So good... }

{Me showing my 87 year-old grandfather how to use his very first iPad - the most priceless moment of my entire holiday. He said the iPad was "magical..." }

{Miles, my mom's cat, is a cat who totally doesn't mind having a camera lens seconds away from his face... I heart him. }

{My brother and I practiced a little food photography and planned our first ever brother-sister road trip for later next year over this amazing brunch at the Sandwich Farm. LOVE that place...}

{Me practicing what I call the "drip pic" during our brunch. And yes - that French toast tasted even more delicious than it looked... }

{My first new wallet in well, many years and probably my last wallet for well, many years... :) #thankful}
