I'M WEARING: THE LAST DRESS OF SUMMER...

Well friends, it's 8:30 PM on Sunday night (last night) and my Weather Channel app says it is 68 degrees outside. Fall is near. Praise the Lord!! I'm so excited. Even though I'm excited, there are a few things I will miss about summer. I'll miss fresh summer fruits and vegetables (there's nothing like them...), long summer morning walks, dining al fresco, and dresses. Summer dresses...

You might have noticed that all of my outfits in these last few outfit posts have been dresses. I love them. I love that they comfortable. I love their versatility. I love that wearing them allows me to sleep about five minutes longer on days that I wear them. It takes less time for me to get dressed on those days... This dress is one of my favorites. I thought it was the cutest thing ever when I saw it in the store, but hesitated to try it on because wearing a bra wasn't optional. I don't have "wearing a bra isn't optional" assets, but the fit of the dress is very supportive, so no bra is necessary. That makes me love this dress 200 times more. I hope that wasn't TMI, but I myself always wonder how people make backless dresses work. Anyway, this little lady dress makes me slightly sad summer is on its way out, but I'm so ready for fall. Bring it on!

  1. Not TMI at all - I often wonder how ladies get the backless dresses working! It would be great if you could do a post on your eating/exercise regime - you have a great figure.

    1. Thank you!! I'll work on the long version of my eating/exercise regime, but the short version is that I drink a lot of water, eat lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean protein during the week, no caffeine, sleep at least 7 hrs on most nights, and attend Pilates once a week on average. That's really about it!

    2. Agreed, not TMI. Very helpful as I don't have "backless dress assets" either.

  8. I always had been in love with backless dresses. I also have a backless one, but when I went to the market for getting something nice, my shopping wasn’t complete without http://byebra.com breast stickers—a product that shapes women’s breasts and is like a breast sticker. Have you ever tried that before?

  12. Your post captures the beauty of hiking in a way I can truly appreciate. In addition to describing the scenery, your words evoked a sense of tranquility and awe. It would be a dream come true if I could visit these breathtaking locations myself! This post made me consider the artistic perspective of color blind test online for the first time. Individuals with color vision deficiencies are still capable of creating breathtaking artworks based on their individual interpretation of hues. It just goes to show how limitations can often lead to unparalleled creativity!
