A Perfect Quiet Weekend

Hi there! How was your weekend? My weekend was very quiet, which made doing my regular "Weekends In" a little difficult. So I am switching things up a bit today. I hope that's ok...

The pic above sort of sums up my weekend. The sun never came out over the weekend, so I chose to spend much of my time in the middle of my bed surrounded by magazines, the remote, books, my laptop, my Kindle, and a sleeping cat. It was quite lovely. I snacked on the most delicious strawberries and downed a Synergy, my favorite drink. I also had the kale and spinach smoothie that I posted last week- two times. I think know I'm obsessed with it. I'm currently reading my third book this year, which is a world record for me. It's called Epilogue. Joanna's description of the book last week sucked me right in. It's about love, loss, family and relationships. Right up my alley. And did I tell you I signed up for my first food photography retreat?? It's hosted by Clare and Helene of Tartelette and I am thrilled!

Oh and that gray and navy striped thing in the background is my new StyleMint tee (the Fillmore). I wore it during the day Saturday as I lounged. It's so soft. Love it.

How was your weekend? Do tell...

  2. Sounds like the perfect weekend! Didn't get much accomplished here, we too stayed in much of the weekend because of rain. I'll have to try that Synergy drink, looks yummy! 3 books, good for you!! We are talking about starting up another book club in our neighborhood and I am super excited.

  3. Sounds absolutely perfect and I must admit I'm a little jealous as its been a looooong time since I've enjoyed a weekend like that :)

I did get to spend the weekend hanging out with my mom though which is always a plus!

    Have a great week Tiffany!

  4. Wow I am jealous - what a great weekend you had,it sounds perfect to me.

I spent mine working - welcoming guests, photographing stock and painting an old chandelier. Alsowent to a friend's film premiere which was exciting especially for her as it was the first time that she had seen her own film on the big screen.

Today I am catching up on paper work, and it is back to work for me :-)

Tres bonne semaine a vous, Leeann x

  5. Hi Tiffany,
Loving your blog. Your home looks very cozy as well. I have been trying for that look for a while, but cannot seem to nip it in the bud. Lol! My weekend included a trip to the movies. I saw 'Contraband' with the boyfriend. We did Sunday breakfast at 'IHOP'. And I am still trying to come up with more interesting ideas for my blog.
    Thanks for sharing!

  6. Wow, that does sound like a lovely weekend. I spent the weekend getting my office organized and lots of business planning.

I'm going to have to try your fav drink, Synergy. Reading the label along was enticing. Excited to read about your photography retreat, oh the things you will learn!

  7. From the looks of it, you're my kinda gal. A weekend in bed reading magazines is my comfort of choice. Love InStyle for it's great tips from fashion to food. Hubby was away so I went crazy in the kitchen testing recipes on my To Do list, like homemade pasta. Made a decadent 4-layer chocolate cake with homemade caramel frosting too...thank God it's still intact till he returns - ha!

  10. Good morning from L.A.!

Oh, your weekend sounds like the complete opposite of mine~relaxing and delicious. Most of ours was spent cleaning the garage, though there were some great treasures to rediscover. There's some silver lining!

Thank you for sharing! I'm happy you were able to enjoy some quality downtime. I think I'm going to have to try your yummy sounding smoothie this week~and sooner rather than later.

Now Im' off to play trains with my little ones. Have a lovely Monday, Tiffany!

    Warmly,

    Elizabeth

My weekend was spent at a women's conference and it was absolutely inspiring and awesome....even though I didn't sleep much. :) I forget how much we women LOVE to chat. :) Happy Monday.
