Vanilla-Orange Vodka Tonic

Does that look fantastic or what?? My special and talented guest today made it and I invited her here today to share it with you. Please welcome my friend Amy of Your Southern Peach. One of the perks of blogging is actually getting to meet wonderful, talented people who share your same interests. Amy is one of those people. She is a really sweet person, a great photographer and also really good at making cocktails! Let me let her tell you about this one!

I'm so happy to be standing in for Tiffany today! I've had the pleasure of hanging with her "in real life" and she is such a beautiful person. We both share a passion for food and photography and became fast friends after spending several hours chatting about life and blogging. A few weeks ago, Tiffany posted about clear concoctions, so I decided to create one of my own. They really are beautiful and a great way to welcome the warmer temperatures of spring. The most important thing to remember when it comes to colorless cocktails is to garnish, garnish, garnish! Whether you use a piece of fruit or some fresh herbs, that little pop of color is like the bow on a present or the icing on the cake. Cheers to spring and thanks again for having me Tiffany!

    1. Hi Jewel :) I used my Canon 50 mm lens for this shot and I know Tiffany uses this particular lens on a lot of her shots too.
