Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I have to say that my weekend was GREAT! I was exhausted on Friday and had to work on Sunday, so I cancelled all plans on Saturday to have just one day to recharge and enjoy the beautiful weather without a schedule. Wonderful decision... I let the windows up and spent some time playing around with my camera, reading, watching Food Network and flipping through Restoration Hardware's spring catalogs. I think I stared at that bedroom for ten minutes. So gorgeous... I also organized my closet for spring and summer. I am so in love with my new necklace. I'm also loving all things metallic these days, so that Kate Spade wallet caught my eye when I saw it a few weeks ago during the Kate Spade sample sale. I couldn't resist it or the price, so I scarfed it up...
On Sunday, I took a break from work and made Ina Garten's Mussels in White Wine. They were divine! I also made the BEST lemonade that I have ever had. It's basil lemonade by Jess of Forgiving Martha. "Heavenly" is probably the best way to describe it.
And before I go, I must send a very special thank you to my lovely mom. Last week, she sent me this basket of 20 gifts to open for the next 20 days. It was like Christmas Day when I saw it and it's like Christmas morning when I open a gift each day! I love you mom!
xo,
What? 20 gifts! That's even better than my Christmas in March! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting and she is soo sweet!
I almost fell for that wallet while in Florida but in nude patent, it was gorgeous, but I've just bought another one so...kind of regret it though..
I'm dying to make that Lemonade, it must be so refreshing!
A basket full of goodies! What?!That is such a sweet gesture from your mom! I'm dying to go through the Restoration catalog - it's nearly a book! What a great weekend :)

ReplyDeleteThe lemonade sounds delicious! 20 gifts?!!! How fun. Our girls get 12 leading up to Christmas each year to open, and love it. I will have to keep this in mind for other months. Especially with Kate going off to school in the fall. I am sure she and her roommate would love it!
