If last weekend were 3 days instead of 2, I would have had time to cook up something lovely to post today. But as some of you may know, that little black dress thing took up half of my weekend, so I don't have any personal food photos today. I honestly feel a bit like a kid who came to class without their homework...
I do have this fun graphic that I found via Wit + Delight. I love that blog. The graphic highlights a food that I eat daily - toast. Sometimes I like it with plain ol' butter, strawberry jam, peanut butter & bananas or melted American or pepperjack cheese. Sometimes I like it a little more dressed up like the photos above. I really like #1...
How do you like your toast??
#2 and #4 sound absolutely delicious! They would be so good any time of day, too.
ReplyDeleteI could eat toast for every meal. Actually, make that a loaf of bread.
ReplyDeleteMe too! Your toasts are much fancier than mine, I recently became a fan of avocado on toast, but usually I'm happy as a clam with butter on sourdough.
ReplyDeleteSO COOL how that graphic works!!
ReplyDeleteMaking me hungry! I have a "thing" for avocado:)

I eat avocado and toast almost every day, but I've never added honey to it, this I must try!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, I LOVE the smell of toast more than the taste, weird. Is not that I don't like toast, is just that I really enjoy the smell of it. Nothing like a good wholegrain piece of toast ;)
ReplyDeleteYummm love all of these flavor combos!! Looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'll take one of each!! I never met a piece of toast that I didn't like ; )
ReplyDeleteI loveee toast. This is so cute :) I was just told by my roommate yesterday that I need to stop eating so much bread and venture out haha!! Eye opening, I guess ;) I like my toast with jelly or peanut butter, cinnamon/sugar combo or just plain butter. Today I had toast and eggs...delish!
ReplyDeleteYum! Love toast. I too never thought to add honey with avocado...will have to give that a try.
ReplyDeleteI love love love toast with avocado! And egg whites with lots of pepper, and cheese. :) Of course you can never go wrong with plain ole butter! You are excused for not having your homework. ;) You are human--hope you enjoy your evening!
ReplyDeleteWow all of these seem so delicious! I absolutely have to try the first one. I LOVE your blog by the way.
